3. Read the first page of the story. Are there any words that you do not know? If your answer is yes, how many?
4. Choose five unfamiliar words from the first two pages, look for their meanings in the dictionary and write a sentence with each one of them. Example:
doughty: determined, brave
She has been a doughty campaigner for animal rights.
